Meanwhile, Jin Tae-hyun surprised viewers by revealing that he participated in a marathon 76 days after his surgery. He said he ran with a band reading "You can do it" placed over his scar.
When asked why he chose an open surgery that left a scar instead of robotic surgery, Jin Tae-hyun said, "Everything that came to me is simply forgotten. This illness that came to me is mine, and the pain I had is mine. I chose open surgery because I don't want to forget it," which surprised everyone. His strong will to accept even his trials as part of his life and to remember them delivered a deep resonance.
