There are reports that Hollywood actor Tom Cruise, 63, and Cuban-born actor Ana de Armas, who is 26 years younger, have broken up after nine months of dating.
According to the British outlet The Sun on the 15th, the two recently split after about nine months of dating. The outlet said a source close to the pair noted, "Tom and de Armas had a good time together, but they decided they could no longer continue as a couple. They plan to remain good friends going forward."
The outlet reported that regarding the two being cast together in the film "Deeper," they will continue to work together going forward.
Earlier, there were reports that the two were considering getting married in space. At the time, a person close to the pair said, "The two are considering space and underwater weddings and are planning to marry in a way no one could imagine." The two first faced dating rumors in February but did not acknowledge the relationship until around Jul. 7, when they were spotted holding hands on a walk, effectively making their relationship public.
Tom Cruise married actor Mimi Rogers in 1987, Nicole Kidman in 1990, and Katie Holmes in 2006, and divorced all three. De Armas also married Spanish actor Marc Clotet and later divorced.
