SBS's Friday-Saturday drama 'Would You Merry Me' (directed by Song Hyun-wook, Hwang In-hyuk; written by Lee Ha-na) follows two people's sweet-and-savage 90-day fake newlywed period as they vie to win a luxury newlywed home prize. Episode 2's ratings peaked at 9.7% nationwide and 7.0% in the Seoul metropolitan area (Nielsen Korea), setting a series high and seizing momentum in the weekend drama battle, and it rose to No. 2 on Disney+ TV show worldwide, gaining strong domestic and international popularity. In episode 2, Kim Woo-ju (Choi Woo-shik) reunites with Yu Meri (Jung So-min) as a business partner and accepts Meri's proposal to be her fake husband. The two then enter a "pretend newlywed couple" arrangement that must not be revealed to anyone.
Meanwhile, a scene is revealed of Woo-ju and Meri having a company dinner with members of Myungsoondang's marketing team, drawing attention. The two converse secretly with their eyes while the team members are unaware. Their exchanged signals create an excitement and tense thrill as if watching a secret romance.
