The band Soran returned with the final album in its three-member lineup.
Soran (Go Young-bae, Seo Myeon-ho, Lee Tae-uk) held a showcase to celebrate the release of their new EP "Dream" at 2 p.m. on the 16th at the MPMG building in Changcheon-dong, Mapo District, Seoul.
On the day, Go Young-bae said first, "This is our first showcase since debut, so we are very nervous and excited. We will do our best to perform live and share a lot with you," expressing his nervous feelings ahead of the new release.
Soran's new EP "Dream" is an album with the concept of having dreamed of brilliant activity since their formation, having dreamed while being active, and wanting to dream of the future again at this point in time. For the first time among Soran's songs, they chose as the title a song created in collaboration with an external composer and a song camp.
Go Young-bae introduced the title track of this new release, "There is no sin in a loving heart," saying, "It is a medium-tempo modern rock song with a slightly different feel from the music Soran has released so far. I have often seen people feeling guilty about the time or the person when they go through a breakup and are in pain, so this breakup song contains the wish that rather than doing that, people will love themselves."
This new release is the last album Soran will release in their current three-member formation. Soran will conclude the three-member lineup after a concert in January next year and transition to a one-man band under Go Young-bae.
On this, Go Young-bae said, "When we went from four to three members, we had many worries then as well. After that, the three of us resolved to do well again and worked very hard for about a year. Then this spring, while discussing contract renewals and pondering the future, we agreed that now is the right time for each of us to go our separate ways, so we made the decision," and explained the decision process, "We wanted to spend time with the fans who like us, listen to our music, and support us, finish in a cool way, and because we wanted to challenge a method the world hasn't seen, we decided to make this final album together, promote it, and then conclude."
Soran's EP "Dream" will be released at 6 p.m. on the 17th.
