The latest updates on comedian Im Lara, who gave birth to twin siblings, have been revealed. Her husband, Son Minsu, stayed by his wife's side after a difficult delivery and carefully helped with postpartum care.
On the 15th, Son Minsu posted a photo on his social media with the caption, "Rakituki, going to see mommy's babies. Walking despite a painful body. 1 step 2 ahyaaya." The photo showed the back of Im Lara walking to see the babies.
In the released photo, Im Lara is wearing a patient gown and a light blue waist support. Since it was soon after childbirth, she was using an aid to walk. Son Minsu captured Im Lara, who was moving to see the twin siblings despite her still-recovering body, with loving eyes.
Son Minsu then appeared worried about Im Lara's recovery after childbirth. A fan saw a photo of Im Lara without socks and sent a message saying, "Please make sure she wears socks. I didn't wear them because it was uncomfortable and got postpartum wind!"
To that, Son Minsu replied, "I have to put socks on her, but she says she can't because pregnancy-related itching is so severe.. Postpartum wind is really scary, right? I'll make sure she wears them today." His reply showed his desire to take care of his wife and his concern.
On the 16th, Son Minsu also shared an update on Im Lara's condition after childbirth, writing, "Lara is having seaweed soup x10 again today but she's eating well to recover quickly."
Son Minsu has been staying by his wife's side after the birth, tending to her carefully. Im Lara also expressed gratitude by posting on social media a photo of Son Minsu asleep while holding her foot, with the caption, "The person who fell asleep while getting a foot massage."
Im Lara and Son Minsu married in May 2023 after nine years of dating. They later conceived twins through in vitro fertilization and gave birth to a boy and a girl on the 14th.
