"Yoo-jin vs. Tae-young" Actress Yoo-jin and Ki Tae-young showed opposing views on a partner's affair.
On the 15th, a video titled "We came to eat 'Namdong Industrial Complex tteokbokki' that everyone in Incheon knows, but how does it really taste?" was released on the YouTube channel of actors Yoo-jin and Ki Tae-young.
The couple visited a tteokbokki shop known as a landmark of Incheon. From 10:30 a.m., there was a line for waiting as well as uncooked and cooked takeout; Yoo-jin and Ki Tae-young entering the crowded shop could not hide their amazement. The couple repeatedly expressed endless admiration as they tasted the food. Ki Tae-young said, "It's delicious. If I say it's delicious, I'm sorry. I won't force you," then added, "It's not a famous place for nothing. It seems like wheat tteok. The wheat texture and the seasoning go well together. Wheat tteok should have a bit of sweetness," showing an active attitude in recommending the taste.
The producer, watching the couple enjoying the tteokbokki, said, "Then shall we finish the Q&A during samgyetang?" and brought up the "balance game." When asked, "A partner who smacks their mouth while eating vs. a partner who only eats tasty things," Ki Tae-young reacted coolly, saying, "It's fine if I yield the tasty things."
Yoo-jin said, "Smacking is fine. When I was young, there was more noise when I ate. The sea told me and I corrected it. But if someone picks only the tasty things to eat, that's really annoying," revealing what made her change her eating habits and then stating her conviction. The producer hinted, "Gluttony can't be solved by love," but Yoo-jin bragged about Ki Tae-young's affectionate nature, saying, "But my oppa can do it, right?"
The producer suddenly asked Ki Tae-young, "What if Yoo-jin picks all the protein?" Ki Tae-young readily conceded, "The protein I ordered is mine, so just order more," and yielded happily.
The next question was, "An actor who smells like a sewer coming from their mouth vs. an actor who keeps forgetting lines," and Ki Tae-young's expression showed he had much to say while Yoo-jin bowed her head, trying not to laugh. It was a stunned reaction.
Ki Tae-young said, "We've all experienced it! We've experienced it, but..." So what would their choice be? Yoo-jin bluntly said, "I'd rather have someone who forgets lines."
However, Ki Tae-young said, "But it's because you really can't stand someone who keeps forgetting. As an actor, I try very hard to understand someone who keeps forgetting lines; when you're nervous you tend to forget more. I try to ease their tension, act as if I made an NG, and do that, but if it goes too far it's not anger but exhaustion," revealing he was overwhelmed by the greatly extended shooting time. Yoo-jin said, "Still, it's more difficult when someone's breath smells like a sewer," and added, "When it's my line, my face has to be filmed when I deliver that line."
Ki Tae-young said, "Especially in melodrama, that's true. I have had that experience," seeming to sympathize with Yoo-jin. Yoo-jin hesitated for a moment and then said, "Actually I've experienced it too. It wasn't with a male co-actor but with a female co-star," and recalled a painful memory, saying, "There was too much rotten cigarette smell."
