"Dynamite Kiss" Jang Ki-yong and Ahn Eun-jin's chemistry explodes.
The new SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama "Dynamite Kiss" (written by Ha Yoon-ah, Tae Kyung-min / directed by Kim Jae-hyun, Kim Hyun-woo / produced by Studio S, Samhwa Networks) premieres Nov. 12 at 9 p.m. It is a mutual, aching romance between a single woman who disguises herself as a mother to make a living and the Head of Team who falls in love with her. It aims to revive the SBS weekday romance drama craze in November.
Meanwhile, on Oct. 15 the teaser for "Dynamite Kiss" was finally released. The unveiled "Dynamite Kiss" not only showcases the heart-fluttering, all-time chemistry of 2025's hottest actors Jang Ki-yong (playing Gong Ji-hyeok) and Ahn Eun-jin (playing Go Da-rim), but also raises viewers' interest and expectations by portraying a roller-coaster level progression that ranges from a Cinderella and a prince's love story to a dizzying, morally fraught story between a married woman and a Head of Team.
The teaser for "Dynamite Kiss" begins with Ahn Eun-jin's character enduring by doing various part-time jobs amid employment difficulties. Like the copy calling her a "dust-covered Cinderella," she has neither money nor a boyfriend. Eventually she is dumped after hearing harsh words from her partner such as "You look like wilted boiled spinach" and "What man would want to date boiled spinach?"
Then a male lead who is like a "prince on a white horse," played by Jang Ki-yong, appears before her. He not only transforms Ahn Eun-jin from head to toe but also approaches her without hesitation, saying "Let's go on a date," and "I want to be with you tomorrow too. Very, very privately." They are truly a couple that evokes "a beautiful love story of Cinderella and the prince."
Here the twist begins. Ahn Eun-jin, who took a job disguised as a mother, comes face to face with Head of Team Jang Ki-yong. As the copy says, "a dizzying, morally fraught story between a married woman and a Head of Team," the two begin to bicker from this point on. But that also happens because their affection for each other is so strong. Jang Ki-yong's anger at "kissing me despite having a husband and a child" and Ahn Eun-jin's sly retort "Are you doing this because you can't forget one kiss with me?" create laughter.
The teaser for "Dynamite Kiss" ends with Jang Ki-yong shouting "Get out" and Ahn Eun-jin replying "I won't get out!" Even in its relatively short running time, the teaser impresses with a romance that alternates between heart-pounding thrills and dizzying moral tension, as well as the fantastic rapport and tasteful chemistry between Jang Ki-yong and Ahn Eun-jin.
