'Yoo-jin vs. Tae-young' Actress Yoo-jin answered cautiously when asked to choose the awkward trait of a co-actor.
On the 15th, a video titled "If you're from Incheon you all know 'Namdong Industrial Complex tteokbokki' — came to eat it, how does it really taste?" was released on the YouTube channel of actors Yoo-jin and Ki Tae-young.
Yoo-jin and Ki Tae-young visited 'Namdong Industrial Complex tteokbokki,' a famous tteokbokki shop in Incheon. They were filled with anticipation as they saw the huge waiting line, takeout orders, unadorned interior and the crowds that had gathered since early morning.
The producer posed a balance game to the couple who were in the middle of eating. Faced with the question 'An actor whose breath smells like a drain vs. an actor who keeps forgetting lines,' Ki Tae-young immediately answered, "We've all experienced both! We've gone through them,".
Yoo-jin said, holding back laughter, "I'd rather have someone who forgets lines." Ki Tae-young shared his experience, "But you're really not used to seeing someone who keeps forgetting. As an actor, I try hard to understand someone who keeps forgetting lines, and they tend to forget more when they're nervous. I try to relax them and act as if I flubbed a take, but when it goes too far it's not anger so much as it becomes exhausting."
Yoo-jin said, "Still, for me it's harder when someone's breath smells like a drain," then added, "When I deliver my lines, they have to film my face when they deliver theirs," and then surprised everyone by saying, "Actually, I have experienced it too. It wasn't a male co-actor but a female actor." Yoo-jin said she preferred dealing with actors who can't memorize lines, noting, "The smell of stale cigarettes was overwhelming."
