"K-pop Demon Hunters" OST "Golden" lead and singer-songwriter Lee Jae (EJAE) grants "Youngstreet".
On the 15th, composer and singer Lee Jae will grant SBS PowerFM Wendy's Youngstreet (hereafter "Youngstreet"). Lee Jae, who drew global attention by performing the Rumi part of the fictional girl group Huntrex in "K-pop Demon Hunters," will through this broadcast share stories he experienced firsthand at the center of the K-pop syndrome.
Lee Jae met fans worldwide through the voice of the Rumi character as well as writing, composing and performing numerous OSTs including "Golden." "Golden" held the No. 1 spot on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and the U.K. Official Chart for eight weeks each, cementing Lee Jae's name in the global music scene.
In particular, Lee Jae is also known as the composer of Red Velvet's hit song "Psycho." The song, released in 2019, swept domestic and international charts and was widely loved, and through it he formed a musical connection with Wendy. Lee Jae also trained for about 10 years as an SM Entertainment trainee preparing for an idol debut, sharing the commonality of being an SM alumnus with DJ Wendy. Fans are anticipating what kind of chemistry the two, who collaborated on "Psycho," will show on this broadcast.
