This fall's blockbuster that will deliver the most intense and astonishing fun to theaters, Now You See Me 3 (director Ruben Fleischer, imported by Lotte Entertainment, distributed by Lotte Entertainment and V4M Studio Co.)
has surpassed 10 million cumulative views for its domestic trailer and has set its domestic release date while unveiling official press stills.
The film Now You See Me 3 is a blockbuster in which the Horsemen, a troupe of magicians who catch bad guys, perform the greatest life-risking magic show on earth to steal the Heart Diamond, the source of dirty money.
After the trailer was released, Now You See Me 3 recorded an overwhelming figure of more than 10 million cumulative views on domestic social media and has risen as November's most anticipated film; it confirmed its domestic release for Nov. 12 (Wed). Bolstered by this intense anticipation from domestic audiences, Now You See Me 3 will open on a schedule faster than some overseas countries such as North America, Germany, Hungary and the United Kingdom.
The press stills for Now You See Me 3 released along with the domestic release announcement reveal familiar faces from the series, newly joined characters and the upgraded scale of the film. The original members of the Horsemen who led the previous series—the Horsemen who catch bad guys—such as Atlas (Jesse Eisenberg), McKinney (Woody Harrelson), Jack (Dave Franco) and Henry (Isla Fisher), as well as the series' leading figures including the reliable supporter who protects the Horsemen, Thaddeus (Morgan Freeman), all make an appearance. In addition, the rookie magicians newly joining the Horsemen and the series' new villain Veronica (Rosamund Pike), who launders dirty funds from weapons trafficking and drug smuggling through the Heart Diamond, are characters who will make this work richer and more interesting and promise to generate fresh cinematic synergy. The magic scenes in the film, which seem to create an optical illusion, also foreshadow the entertaining charm that can be found only in Now You See Me 3 and heighten expectations among prospective viewers.
Following the trailer, Now You See Me 3, which has removed another veil with official stills and has firmly established itself as November's most anticipated film, opens in theaters across the Republic of Korea on Nov. 12 (Wed).<
