To the Moon Jo Ah-ram stands at a turning point in love and life.
MBC Friday-Saturday drama "To the Moon" (planning Jang Jae-hoon, directors Oh Da-young, Jeong Hoon, writer Na Yoon-chae) is racing toward its climax. As the story ripens, the actions of the youngest of the 'Munani' group, Kim Ji-song (Jo Ah-ram), are drawing particular attention. Ji-song, an MZ YOLOer who lived for today only, after boarding the 'coin train' with Jung Da-hae (Lee Sun-bin) and Kang Eun-sang (Ra Mi-ran), for the first time began to envision a future called "tomorrow."
Among them, marriage to her boyfriend Wei Lin (Zhang Hao) was one of the futures Ji-song dreamed of. Excited by news that Wei Lin would visit Korea with his parents, Ji-song could not hide her excitement as she practiced Chinese. In episode 9 of "To the Moon," which airs Oct. 17, Ji-song is shown bidding farewell to Wei Lin, and her relationship with Oh Dong-gyu (Ahn Dong-gu) also unfolds in an unusual way.
In this regard, the production team of "To the Moon" drew attention by releasing a two-shot of Ji-song and Dong-gyu. First, Ji-song's expression with rabbit-like eyes, as if startled while in Dong-gyu's arms, catches the eye. Then, a shot of Ji-song crying beside him was captured, adding to the curiosity. What kind of development will the subtle atmosphere between the two lead to?
Earlier, Dong-gyu attempted a makeover after Ji-song said "I like handsome guys." Although he took care with his appearance, his somewhat awkward look rather surprised those around him. Above all, since Ji-song had declared, "Even if he becomes handsome, I can't give him a chance," expectations are growing about how she will react to Dong-gyu's changed appearance.
