The new mission of "Just Makeup" has been unveiled.
On the 15th, Coupang Play's variety program "Just Makeup" released a teaser for episode 6 containing the new mission.
"Just Makeup" is a large-scale makeup survival show in which makeup artists who represent K-beauty not only in Korea but worldwide fiercely compete with their own styles. As episodes progressed, viewership surged, propelling it to No. 1 on Coupang Play.
In round 3, the first team mission centered on the stages of K-pop idol groups TWS and STAYC will unfold. Artists who have shown their best capabilities so far will form teams and must complete stage makeup that fits the concept of global K-pop groups. Beyond mere makeup execution, this extremely difficult mission requires emotional makeup and teamwork that will move fans' hearts, and the tension is expected to peak.
In particular, this round will be conducted under the extreme rule that all members of the winning team survive and all members of the losing team are eliminated. In the released teaser, participants were caught bursting into tears in a hair-trigger situation, raising expectations about what fierce showdown will unfold.
"Just Makeup" ranked No. 1 among popular Coupang Play titles and achieved a rating of 4.6 after episodes 4 and 5 were released on the 10th. Compared with the first week after release, viewership soared by a staggering 665%, a 7.65-fold increase, drawing explosive praise such as "It feels like the birth of a blockbuster series," "It feels like watching the art version of Culinary Class Wars," "The makeup is so diverse and changes the look as it's expressed that you lose track of time," "It's really so fun. "Just Makeup" will release episode 6 on Friday the 17th at 8 p.m.
