Former news anchor and broadcaster Kim Dae-ho returns with "The Great Guide 2.5: The Very Difficult Guide."
On the 15th, MBC Every1's new variety show The Great Guide 2.5: The Very Difficult Guide (abbreviated The Great Guide 2.5) released its third teaser video.
"The Great Guide 2.5: The Very Difficult Guide" is one of the MBC Every1 popular travel reality "The Great Guide" series and offers a cheerful travelogue that viewers can easily follow before embarking on the long journey of "The Great Guide 3." Park Myung-soo, Kim Dae-ho, Choi Daniel, Lee Mujin, and Jeon So-min and Hyoyeong—all members from season 2—have rejoined, and former travel mates Kim Dae-ho and Choi Daniel will take on special guide roles, promising a fresh kind of fun.
The first destination was Mount Baekdu, a popular spot among Koreans, visited by Kim Dae-ho, Choi Daniel, Jeon So-min, and Hyoyeong. In the previously released teaser, Kim Dae-ho and Choi Daniel challenged a shocking cross-dressing stunt, and the close-friend chemistry between Choi Daniel and Jeon So-min was captured, delivering big laughs.
Meanwhile, the third teaser for "The Great Guide 2.5: The Very Difficult Guide" was released. It vividly shows what kind of travel Kim Dae-ho, Choi Daniel, Jeon So-min, and Hyoyeong enjoyed when they visited China, where Mount Baekdu is located, and how special and entertaining their experiences were, raising anticipation among prospective viewers.
The most attention-grabbing scene in the released teaser is Kim Dae-ho plunging into a huge, red chili soup as if he were an ingredient for hot pot. True to his love of the unusual, Kim Dae-ho admired it saying, "It's so new," which drew laughter. Kim Dae-ho, who left MBC in February to work as a professional broadcaster, draws more attention by adding another new regular program to his repertoire.
Meanwhile, Choi Daniel imitates Bruce Lee while swinging nunchaku. Jeon So-min, who is so taken with the local food that she even has sauce on her mouth, and Hyoyeong, who screams because of chicken. It promises to be a truly chaotic and tumble-filled travelogue.
Kim Dae-ho said, "I knew there would be many truly extraordinary things, but it's a really fun city," showing bursts of dopamine. Seeing a local person spinning on a horizontal bar, Choi Daniel exclaimed offhandedly, "Is this the scale of the continent?" which provoked laughter. If these two, who have traveled widely through "The Great Guide," are so amazed, attention turns to how entertaining and delightful the full broadcast will be.
Meanwhile, the production team also announced the opening of the official "The Great Guide" YouTube channel, "The Great Guidebook." Through that channel, teasers for "The Great Guide," pre-release videos, unreleased clips, and behind-the-scenes videos will be uploaded. It is expected to become a meaningful outlet for the many viewers and fans who love "The Great Guide."
"The Great Guide 2.5: The Very Difficult Guide" will premiere on Tuesday the 28th at 8:30 p.m.
