HYBE's J-pop boy group aoen released their new digital single Seishun Incredibles (청춘 인크레더블/春インクレディブル) at 12 a.m. on the 15th.
This record contains three songs in total, including the title track Seishun Incredibles, MXMM (맥시멈), and Cough Syrup (코프 시럽).
The title track Seishun Incredibles conveys pure, overwhelming energy to listeners by expressing the brilliant moment of first love that arrives like a miracle and that excitement with refreshing rock sounds.
The music video, released simultaneously with the song, centers on member Leo and depicts the start of first love and aoen supporting him. The seven members preparing a school festival stage (Yuuju, Luca, Hikaru, Sota, Kyosuke, Gaku, Leo) offer the sensibility of a youthful film.
MXMM is a love song that expresses the uncontrollable feelings of unrequited love with intense sounds and humorous lyrics. The song drew attention after being chosen as the theme for Nippon TV affiliate CTV's drama (おいしい離婚けます) even before its official release.
Another track, Cough Syrup, is a song that depicts the passion and pain of falling in love. The seven members newly reinterpreted the audition program 응원-HIGH ~꿈의 START LINE~ final song that produced aoen, adding meaning.
Meanwhile, aoen made a successful start by ranking No. 1 on Japan's Oricon daily single ranking (June 15) with their debut single The Blue Sun in June and receiving the Recording Industry Association of Japan's Gold Disc gold certification (as of June 2025). As a next-generation J-pop representative group attracting attention, they are expected to show deeper emotion and musical growth with this new record.
