Broadcaster and former announcer Han Seok-jun shared an update after collapsing due to a health problem.
On the 12th Han Seok-jun posted several photos on his social media with the caption "A walk in Ansan. My daughter has been singing since yesterday asking to go see the dinosaurs." After visiting the Seodaemun Museum of Natural History and walking Ansan together, he wrote, "I had heard a lot about how nice Ansan is, but it was my first time actually taking a walk there. The air was refreshing, and I enjoyed the clear breath the trees gave me," and added, "For my health I need to walk more and run more," leaving a promise.
In the released photos Han Seok-jun attracted attention as he walked holding his young daughter's hand. Fans sent their regards, saying things like "Are you okay now?", "I was startled when I read the article," and "Please take care of your health," after he showed a still bright smile indicating he is recovering. Han Seok-jun reassured them directly by replying, "Fortunately I am recovering well. Thank you for worrying about me."
Earlier, Han Seok-jun caused great concern when he revealed that he had suddenly collapsed and visited the emergency room on the 30th of last month. At the time he said, "I collapsed with my memory cut off. I was covered in blood and could not speak properly," and said he underwent brain imaging and emergency treatment. He added, "If my wife had not been there, if I had been alone, I would not be here at this moment," and confessed, "I am so grateful to be breathing like this now," shocking readers.
His agency SM C&C said, "When he collapsed he hit something and his memory was temporarily lost, but there is no major health problem."
Han Seok-jun joined KBS as a public broadcaster announcer in 2003 and was active on various programs such as News 9, Challenge! Golden Bell and Sponge. He shifted to freelance work in 2015 and continues to share his family life and communicate with fans alongside his broadcasting activities.
