The group MEOVV (Miyao) has returned in a dazzling and intense way.
MEOVV (Soo-in, Ga-won, Anna, Na-rin, Ella) released the digital single "BURNING UP" and its music video on various music platforms at 6 p.m. on the 14th.
Debuting in September last year, MEOVV applied The Black Label's distinctive producing method, different from existing K-pop artists, allowing all members to fully showcase their unique charms and artist-like qualities. With their debut single "MEOW" and second single "TOXIC," MEOVV announced a powerful start and, with an exceptional aura and stage presence, has been noted as not typical of rookies and is gaining attention as a leading act of the fifth generation of K-pop girl groups.
MEOVV's comeback comes about five months after the release of their first EP "MY EYES OPEN VVIDE" in May. Since their last activities, MEOVV expanded their concept spectrum with the double title tracks "HANDS UP" and "DROP TOP," and ahead of the new release they raised expectations with teaser videos showing the group's cat identity and teasing content featuring the members' silhouettes.
From their last activities to the new album release, MEOVV celebrated their first anniversary in between. The new digital single "BURNING UP" starts from the pledge to keep going even if breath stops. MEOVV will deliver overwhelming energy with a confidence that seems to "burn everything hotly."
The title track of the same name is a Jersey club–style dance track that stimulates the passion within and expresses an attitude of moving toward what you want without hesitation.

The lyrics are direct like this, and the intense beat carries MEOVV's message of advancing without wavering. The released music video shows MEOVV "BURNING UP" wherever they go and wherever they are. Sprinklers activate and large fans are used, but MEOVV's intensity could not be stopped. In the end, only a tremendous downpour could suppress MEOVV's heat, which raises expectations for how intense MEOVV's performance will be when they show it with "BURNING UP."
With performances beyond rookie level, solid live skills and overwhelming concept execution that have broadened their musical spectrum, the now more glamorous MEOVV will shout "BURNING UP" and move forward even hotter.
