"The Last Summer" released a third teaser video depicting the exciting triangle between Lee Jae-wook, Choi Sung-eun and Kim Gun-woo.
The new KBS 2TV weekend miniseries "The Last Summer" (directed by Min Yeon-hong, written by Jeon Yu-ri), set to premiere Nov. 1 at 9:20 p.m., is a remodeling romance drama about a man and woman who have been friends since childhood and confront the truth of their first love hidden in Pandora's box.
In the third teaser released today (14th), it begins with Baek Do-ha (played by Lee Jae-wook) and Song Ha-kyung (played by Choi Sung-eun), who met one summer at age 12 and have been together through high school to the present, smiling at each other, evoking viewers' warm feelings. But another figure, Seo Soo-hyuk (played by Kim Gun-woo), appears to Ha-kyung, and with the blunt line "Let's try dating. Us," the balance is overturned.
The unexpected variable named "Seo Soo-hyuk" appears, leaving Do-ha unable to hide his bewilderment, and Do-ha asks again toward Soo-hyuk, "Is it true? That you're dating Song Ha-kyung?" The scene where Soo-hyuk says, "She's an interesting person every time we meet. Song Ha-kyung," makes Do-ha's heart tremble even more. Ha-kyung fans the flames of Do-ha's jealousy by saying, "She's sexy, a professional, there's no reason for me not to hold that hand."
Whether aware of Do-ha's feelings or not, Ha-kyung and Soo-hyuk go together to cheer for Oh Seung-taek (played by Ahn Dong-gu)'s match, and Soo-hyuk moves close to Ha-kyung as if to kiss her, creating a romantic atmosphere. Do-ha's jealousy explodes at the news of the two's romance, and his furious use of a chainsaw provokes laughter.
Unable to just stand by, Do-ha finally says he won't come home today and does the unexpected. He snatches Ha-kyung's cellphone while she is talking to Soo-hyuk and, when the two try to take a sweet photo together, he interferes, starting a full-on jealousy rampage. Also, when Do-ha declares, "I can only do everything I can," and grabs Ha-kyung's hand, it raises curiosity about the tangled episodes among the three.
