Actor Song Jae-hee and Ji So-yeon revealed why they announced a month late that they had given birth to twins.
Ji So-yeon wrote on her social media account story on the 14th, "My son Doha's birthday is Sept. 15. He was born at 3.2kg. My daughter Reha was born one minute later than her brother. She was born at 2.4kg."
The couple Song Jae-hee and Ji So-yeon married in 2017 and welcomed their first daughter Ha-el in 2023. They later succeeded in becoming pregnant with twins through in vitro fertilization, and although they were expected to give birth in September, they did not share notable news, which raised curiosity.
Meanwhile, Ji So-yeon said she gave birth to the twins about a month ago. Ji So-yeon said, "I am sharing this news for those who contacted me worried because there was no news even after the due date passed. Finally telling the story now, the day our family met," and introduced a preview of the SBS program "Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny," which airs on the 20th.
Ji So-yeon said, "Giving birth to twins at an advanced maternal age, I had scheduled a cesarean for full term but went into premature labor, so I was very anxious, worried and in pain, but amid so many prayers and blessings our family finally met. We are opening a new chapter from three to five. I will share baby news soon."
In particular, Ji So-yeon replied to a worried fan's comment, "I met the children a month ago. I couldn't reveal it earlier because I wanted to deliver the news in detail. Thank you so much for your support."
