Actor Han Chae-ah confessed to her husband Cha Se-jji's frugal side.
On the 14th, Han Chae-ah released a new video titled "Introducing my healing spot! Noleul Island" on her YouTube channel.
That day, as Han Chae-ah moved to Noleul Island on the Han River near her home, she recalled, "A few days ago there was the Yeouido fireworks festival. I was walking here with my younger sibling, my husband and Bom, and there were so many people. They were packed over there, cheering while watching the fireworks."
Han Chae-ah, who usually takes the bus to Noleul Island, said she was walking today because she was going with an acquaintance's dog, and admitted, "I followed my friend without thinking, and really loud cheers erupted. It was so good."
Han Chae-ah said the acquaintance who came to Noleul Island with them had been friends with her husband Cha Se-jji since childhood, and said, "Even though I can't badmouth my husband to others, rather than insults it's more like complaining? Actually our husband used to be like this, and these stories don't come out easily but they came out easily. No matter what I talk about, I feel comfortable."
In particular, Han Chae-ah said, "Their tendencies are similar to my husband's. He is just ingrained with frugality, saving and saving," and laughed while saying, "(My husband) generally doesn't buy things. Clothes his older brother wore, clothes his father wore. And even his underwear..."
Han Chae-ah said, "To soften the words a bit, they have some holes. The underwear is tattered. So I told him to change them a bit, but he says he's fine. I asked, 'Why?' and he said, 'Today at the sauna the foot part fit,'" which drew laughter.
Han Chae-ah said, "He saves everything to that extent, thrifty and frugal. But the acquaintance is similar. When you go home the lights are all off. That's a good point. But Se-jji is more extreme."
Meanwhile, Han Chae-ah married Cha Se-jji, son of Cha Bum-geun, in 2018 and they have a daughter.
