'Gag Concert' heads to Goseong, Gangwon Province, for a nationwide laughter unity.
KBS2's 'Gag Concert' said on the 14th that "on the 24th, 'Gag Concert in Goseong' will be held at the Gangwon World Jamboree training center." It will take the stage in a new region about 10 months after meeting 'Gag Concert' viewers in Ulsan last December.
The 'Gag Concert' nationwide tour project began to reach regional audiences who find it difficult to attend recordings held at the KBS public hall in Yeouido, Seoul. The first nationwide tour stop in Ulsan concluded successfully amid enthusiastic responses from Ulsan citizens, and Cho Hyun-woo, a football player representing Ulsan and the national team goalkeeper, made a special appearance that added meaning to the show.
Goseong, Gangwon Province, was chosen as the location for the second nationwide tour performance. This reflects 'Gag Concert's' intention to spread comedy culture throughout regions by visiting small and mid-sized cities that relatively lack cultural infrastructure, rather than easier-to-perform large cities, and to boost local economies.
The production team said, "As this is the nationwide tour restarting after a year, all cast members are filled with excitement and anticipation," and added, "We will do our best so we can share bigger laughs and emotions with Goseong audiences."
This performance is rated for all ages, so people of all ages can enjoy it.
