Broadcaster Sam Hammington recalled his son William's early childhood.
On the 14th, KBS1's Morning Yard 'Tuesday invitation' corner featured broadcaster Sam Hammington and his two sons, William Hammington and Bentley Hammington.
Sam Hammington and his children, who received much love through 'The Return of Superman.' Sam Hammington said, "When 'The Return of Superman' started, William was about 3 months old. At that time, because it was a guest appearance and I thought it would be nice to make good memories, we appeared, and because it came out entertainingly and the child was cute, we became regulars. I think we appeared for more than four years."
Sam Hammington continued, "Because it's a reality show, I was worried that if the children realized they were appearing, they might become unnatural. And because they were young, I was worried they might develop celebrity syndrome, so I didn't show them." He added, "Later, they saw themselves through YouTube and other means and naturally came to know about their appearances. They never said they wanted to appear again, but they showed a lot of interest while watching their own videos."
William, watching his time on 'The Return of Superman,' said, "I was cute when I was little," and Sam Hammington said, "Because of his bowl haircut he was teased at the playground. He was teased a lot as if he were a girl. It was a trend at the time, but from William's perspective it must have been upsetting."
