"Grapefruit Apricot Club" is a solo concert under the same title as the novel Hanroro published in July and the third EP released in August. As a stage where literature and music intersect, it promises to offer a musical experience unlike any before and to present a new artistic paradigm through the fusion of different genres.
In particular, "Grapefruit Apricot Club" is the largest solo concert Hanroro has presented since debut. After holding the debut solo concert at KT&G Sangsangmadang Hongdae Live Hall in 2023, Hanroro will take the stage at Hwajeong Gymnasium, Korea University, about two years later, boasting a performance scale more than 20 times larger and proving explosive growth. As all three of Hanroro's previous solo performances sold out, intense ticket competition is expected for this show as well.
Meanwhile, the novel and music album that Hanroro has sequentially released under the name "Grapefruit Apricot Club" share the same worldview of "the story that unfolds when four middle school girls, each bearing their own pain, meet." The novel vividly depicted Hanroro's artistic direction, which has conveyed solidarity and love to imperfect and unstable youth in her lyrics, while the music album was praised for each track existing as an independent song while organically connecting with the novel and expanding the boundaries of genre.
Meanwhile, tickets for Hanroro's solo concert, which will encompass all the tracks included in "Grapefruit Apricot Club" as well as her discography to date and comprehensively cover the history of Hanroro's music, will be exclusively open via Melon Ticket from today (14th) at 6 p.m.
