Singer and actress the late Sulli (real name Choi Jin-ri) has been gone for six years.
On the 14th, Sulli's older brother posted on social media, "I think loving is accepting my misfortune. I commemorate the anniversary of my beloved younger sister," mourning his sibling.
Posting a photo of Sulli smiling brightly, he mentioned the birthday of the late American right-wing activist Charlie Kirk and added, "If this post is terrorized, your sanctuary will be smashed to pieces. Do not provoke me," drawing attention.
Sulli died at her home in Seongnam, Gyeonggi, on Oct. 14, 2019, at the age of 25. Found by her manager, the deceased left only a personal note instead of a will, and the autopsy confirmed there were no signs of criminal suspicion.
Sulli began her career as a child actor in the drama "Seodong-yo" in 2005 and debuted in the girl group f(x) in 2009, earning great love with hits such as "Lachata," "Hot Summer" and "First Love Tooth." As an actress, she also appeared in numerous works including "To the Beautiful You," "The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure," "Fashion King" and "Real."
In 2023, the documentary "To Jin-ri" was released, bringing renewed attention to her candid life and stories that had not been fully shown.
