LE SSERAFIM unveiled a new album concept that feels like a youth movie. LE SSERAFIM (Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Heo Yunjin, Kazuha, Hong Eunchae) posted photos and videos of the second concept for their single album 'SPAGHETTI,' titled 'KNOCKING BASIL,' on the group's official social media at 12 a.m. on the 14th. Unlike the intense and spicy first set of content, a calm and pure sentiment catches the eye.
In the video, LE SSERAFIM wear matching red uniforms with the "SPAGHETTI" logo and play delivery workers. The five members deliver food between Dongjak Bridge and apartment buildings in Seoul. That echoes Sakura's appearance in the teaser video "EAT IT UP!" released on the 9th. In particular, the doorbell sound at the end of the video stirs the excitement of wanting to meet the delivered spaghetti right away.
The photos also maximize the mood by using the vintage tones of film cameras. Kim Chaewon enjoys the cool breeze as she heads out to deliver. Hair tousled by the wind and her wistful gaze evoke innocence. Sakura holds a menu in her mouth between a box bearing the team's official logo and the phrase "EAT IT UP." Heo Yunjin poses as if she might knock on the door at any moment in front of the delivery destination. Kazuha's photo gives a fresh feel with a composition that looks through the door's lens. Hong Eunchae stands under the bridge holding a spaghetti box, showcasing her distinct features.
Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM's single album "SPAGHETTI" will be released at 1 p.m. on the 24th. Ahead of that, the group will sequentially release various content to keep the comeback momentum, including "WEIRD GARLIC" on the 15th, "COMPACT BITES" on the 16th, "SAMPLER PLATTER" on the 17th, "THE KICK" on the 20th, and "HIGHLIGHT PLATTER" on the 21st.
