The group ITZY concluded their first solo fan meeting in Japan successfully. ITZY held "ITZY The 4th Fan Meeting ITZY MIDZY, LET'S FLY! "ON AIR"" (Itzy Midzy, let's fly! "On Air") at Tokyo National Yoyogi First Gymnasium in Japan for three days from Oct. 11 to 13. This was ITZY's first solo fan meeting in Japan and added special meaning as their first local performance in about 1 year and 6 months since last May's "ITZY 2ND WORLD TOUR 'BORN TO BE'" (Born to be). Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong and Yuna, who appeared dressed in check-patterned outfits, opened the show brilliantly with the group's representative song "ICY". They followed with performances that captured the momentum of the "K-pop representative performance queens," including the title track of their first Japanese full-length album "RINGO" (Ringo), "Girls Will Be Girls," and "MA.FI.A. In the morning," and held fans' attention with solo stages that showcased each of the five members' charms.
At this Japan solo fan meeting, ITZY premiered the performance of the title track "ROCK & ROLL" (Rock & Roll) from their new local full-length album "Collector" (Collector), released on the 8th, attracting attention. The new song "ROCK & ROLL" carries the message of "moving forward in one's own way," and the new album topped the Oricon daily album ranking in Japan on Oct. 9. The five members left a loving remark at the end of the performance: "We feel excited and happy thinking there will be many days like today. We could feel love in a place full of MIDZY (fandom name: Midzy). Thank you for always supporting us, and we'll show you great performances. We hope we will continue to love and support each other going forward."
Recently, at the fourth official fan meeting held in Seoul, "ITZY The 4th Fan Meeting Itzy Midzy, let's fly! "ON AIR"", ITZY surprised fans by announcing an early contract renewal with JYP Entertainment. [Photo] Provided by JYP Entertainment.
