"Global favorite girl band" QWER (QWER) continues its special steps.
QWER (Chodan, Magenta, Hina, Siyeon) will begin limited offline sales of the special LP Beyond the Discord at Welcome Records in Seoul starting today (13th).
The special LP Beyond the Discord is a special gift to celebrate QWER's 2nd debut anniversary with fans. QWER previously released the special single White-whaled whale on the 6th. White-whaled whale is a remake of a signature song by the national band YB (Yoon Do-hyun Band), and with QWER's own sensibility it reinterprets the comforting message "I will overcome fear in a harsh world and move out into the wider world," receiving praise after its release.
This special LP includes six tracks in total, including White-whaled whale and QWER's past album title tracks Discord, Addiction to worry, Fake idol, My name is clear, and an arranged version of Holding back tears. The arrangements add fresh appeal to the charm of the original songs, making this a great gift for those who have loved QWER's music.
In particular, world-renowned fashion designer Mihara Yasuhiro and sneaker deconstruction artist Rudy Indahouse participated in the package production to deliver a special moment at the intersection of diverse arts. In addition, the special LP includes abundant items found only in this release, from a photobook capturing the artists' distinctive charms to large postcards, fold-out posters, photo cards, handwritten and stamp stickers, and pet bookmarks.
QWER, which celebrates its 2nd debut anniversary on the 18th, has since debuting in 2023 risen to become the undisputed "global favorite girl band," topping major domestic music charts and sweeping various awards ceremonies with each release. In addition, following the successful conclusion of their first world tour, 2025 QWER 1ST WORLD TOUR "ROCKATION," from March 3 to 5, they will meet fans starting with the Seoul concert and in Brooklyn, Atlanta, Berwyn, Minneapolis, Fort Worth, Houston, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Macao, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Taipei, Fukuoka, Osaka, Tokyo, and Singapore.
Meanwhile, QWER's special LP Beyond the Discord will be sold offline in Japan at Shibuya Loft and in Busan at Depart Namba Marui and Hakata Marui starting on the 22nd, following Korea.
