The Kindi Lounge, operated by the Korea Music Label Industry Association (Kindi Association), introduces four emotionally rich new releases issued in September and early October, as evocative as the deepening seasonal air. From the voice of youth announcing a debut to reinterpretations of familiar classics, these new records with different temperatures have reached listeners.
On Sept. 29, the three-member pop-rock band BLUHWA (BLUHWA), signed to JMG (Double X Entertainment), took their first step by releasing their debut single "Greenery." The project, which brings back Kwak Eun-jae, Jo Hyo-chan and Lee Kwang-ho — who previously performed as GLU — under a new team name, sings a paean to youth with the theme "the light and dreams that bloom in every moment of life." The new song blends BLUHWA's signature funky rhythm and upbeat guitar riffs, harmonizing with the cool season.
On the same day, rookie band OmO (OmO), signed to Rock Star Music & Live, participated in the OST "Run, Hanni (Bad Girl Ver.)" to commemorate the release of the theatrical film Run, Hanni: Bad Girl. This track is a modern reinterpretation of the original character's bold energy, enhanced by OmO's distinctive, tasteful and cheerful sound.
On Sept. 30, the band OAH! (OAH!), signed to Your Summer, released the single "Harley." Like the childhood dream of riding a Harley and roaming the world, the song cheerfully expresses the desire to escape reality and go somewhere. The message that both those who leave and those who cannot leave will be all right eventually comes as a deep comfort alongside the upbeat sound.
On Oct. 1, HYNN (Park Hye-won), signed to New Order Entertainment, remade MC the Max's classic "You Blow" and released it as an official track. The song, which she performed last year on SBS' The Listen: Reuniting on Stage, received high praise for its explosive high notes and heartfelt emotion, and the video surpassed 4 million views, leading fans to request an official release. This remake preserves the original's poignancy while adding HYNN's detailed vocal expression and sophisticated arrangement.<
