Group MAMAMOO member Solar opened the curtain on her Asia tour in Seoul.
Solar held her Asia tour Solaris, Solar (Solar) 3rd CONCERT 'Solaris' (hereinafter "Solaris") at Yonsei University Centennial Hall concert hall in Seoul on the 11th and 12th.
Solaris is an Asia tour with the concept of the voyage of the interstellar passenger ship Solaris, departing with fans in 2142, when space travel has become possible. The tour title also implies the meaning "Solar is," and Solar completed one blank sentence in each of four chapters.
In particular, Solar encompassed her entire musical career from group to solo like the orbit of a spacecraft. Starting with the intense performance as captain of the Solaris, "Solar is the Empress," she presented "Solar is the Imaginer," which realized the imagined dreams as reality; "Solar is the Story," which emotionally infused various everyday stories; and "Solar is the One," which wholly captured Solar, Kim Yong-seon, allowing fans to embark on a musical adventure under her direction.
Solar raced nonstop with more than 28 songs. She delivered solo signature live performances that fans trust, such as "Spit it out," "But I," and "Colors," as well as MAMAMOO hits like "Egotistic," "You're the Best," and "Piano Man," and musical numbers from Notre-Dame de Paris and Mata Hari, consolidating Solar's charms and prompting enthusiastic cheers from fans.
Her love for fans also stood out. Through "Honey" and "WANT," Solar created call-and-response sections that weren't in the original songs and breathed with the fans. In addition, she sang fans' requested songs on the spot and gave variations to parts of the setlist over the two days, providing the fun of discovering them.
After successfully completing the Seoul performance, Solar said, "My destination has always been beside Yongsun (the fandom name). I tried to show you my all without regret, so I hope the fans also enjoyed the time without regret as I did." She added, "I always want to challenge and change. Seeing fans rejoice and be happy is my driving force. I will always stay by the fans in the way they want and in a way true to myself," expressing her affection.
Starting in Seoul, Solar, who officially set off on the Solaris, will continue the tour heat in five Asian cities, including Hong Kong on the 25th, Kaohsiung on Nov. 2, Singapore on Nov. 22, and Taipei on Nov. 30.
