Singer Yoon Min-su and his ex-wife Kim Min-ji spoke directly about the "sham divorce" rumors that arose after their divorce.
The Dec. 12 broadcast of SBS "My Little Old Boy" featured Yoon Min-su and his ex-wife grants together, revealing a cool couple who continue to share a realistic daily life even after their divorce.
On that broadcast, Yoon Min-su and his ex-wife Kim Min-ji packed their belongings together ahead of their move. Kim Min-ji confessed, "When I signed the divorce papers I didn't feel it, but as I divide our things like this, I finally feel the separation." The two burst into laughter as they looked at the partitioning stickers attached around the house and said, "It looks like a bankrupt house."
While tidying, a childhood photo of Yoon-hoo came out, and the two bickered for a moment saying, "I'll take it." When Yoon Min-su eventually took the photo, Kim Min-ji joked, "If it disappears one day, don't look for it," drawing laughter. When a wedding photo came out of a drawer, Kim Min-ji panicked and said, "Close it quickly!" and Yoon Min-su wore a complicated expression saying, "Should we throw this away?" The realistic appearance of the divorced couple resonated with viewers.
In particular, the two directly addressed the recently raised "sham divorce" rumors. The suspicion arose among some netizens after Yoon Min-su and his ex-wife released photos of a trip to Japan with their son Yoon-hoo even after the divorce.
In response, Kim Min-ji drew a line, saying, "It's not a sham divorce. We just naturally posted images of our family," and "Although the marital relationship has ended, we maintain a good relationship as our son's parents."
Meanwhile, Yoon Min-su and Kim Min-ji married in 2006 and have a son, Yoon-hoo. The two, who announced their divorce last year, still co-parent Yoon-hoo and maintain family bonds.
