The popular chemistry called "Pamyu siblings" from I Live Alone is expected to continue through the spin-off new show "Pamyu Trip" even after actor Lee Jang-woo's wedding.
On the 13th, OSEN reported that MBC is promoting a new entertainment show titled "Pamyu Trip" (working title). "Pamyu Trip" is a new MBC entertainment show featuring Jun Hyun-moo, Park Na-rae and Lee Jang-woo, who gained popularity as the "Pamyu siblings" on MBC's flagship show I Live Alone (abbreviated I Live Alone). It was originally scheduled to launch at the end of this year, but the first broadcast date is known to be subject to delay.
Previously, Jun Hyun-moo, Park Na-rae and Lee Jang-woo traveled between Taichung in Taiwan, Da Lat in Vietnam, Mokp'o in Korea, and Istanbul in Türkiye, showcasing mukbangs not only domestically but on a global stage. Their stories, based on the close friendship they built on I Live Alone and their matching food tastes and appetites, excited I Live Alone viewers on their own.
Not only mukbangs but everything about them became content. Especially in episodes about health checkups and body profiles, the Pamyu trio's every move, which seemed to communicate like Bluetooth even without food, delivered big laughs.
However, among them Lee Jang-woo is set to marry his long-time public girlfriend Cho Hye-won this coming Nov. and had postponed their wedding. Given I Live Alone's focus on showing the single lives of cast members, Lee Jang-woo's leaving after his marriage was considered a foregone conclusion. That raised regrets that the "Pamyu" group could no longer be seen on I Live Alone. Therefore, a spin-off-level show called "Pamyu Trip" is being discussed centered on producers from I Live Alone.
According to broadcasting and entertainment industry sources, the production team of "Pamyu Trip" has already checked schedules and made casting proposals to Jun Hyun-moo, Park Na-rae and Lee Jang-woo. Since the title includes "Pamyu," the three appearing together as regulars is essential, so detailed schedule adjustments are under way, and it was hinted that the format will feature a guest each episode. However, the project is in its early stages, and specific content and the possibility of scheduling are still under discussion. <
