Kian84 once again challenges the limits of his life.
MBC's new variety show "Extreme 84" (directed by Park Soo-bin) released an intense poster that takes your breath away ahead of its first broadcast in Nov.
The released poster captures Kian84 in the middle of a desert lit by a red sunset, brushing sand out of his sand-filled sneakers as he catches his breath, drawing attention. The endlessly continuing sand dunes and the reddened sky raise the question "Where could this be?" and foreshadow the beginning of a new journey. Over his face streaked with sweat and dust, the phrase "expedition MARATHON crew testing limits" appears along with the "Extreme 84" logo, conveying the tension of extreme challenge and survival intact.
"Extreme 84" is, true to its title, an ultra-extreme running variety show that depicts Kian84 entering a course beyond 42.195km, putting himself on trial in extreme marathon environments and persisting to the end. Having completed the Cheongju Marathon and the New York Marathon, Kian84 now takes on an unknown course called a "marathon beyond marathons," embarking on a "real race" that surpasses human limits.
In particular, "Extreme 84" is a franchise project that expands the rainbow universe of MBC's flagship variety show I Live Alone, and it will portray a journey in which Kian84, who appeared as a "lifestyle runner" on I Live Alone, completes marathons in actual extreme environments and surpasses his own limits.
