Actors Choi Young-joon, Im Se-mi, Lee Gi-kwang, Im Soo-hyang, Jung Hye-in and Yoo Seon-ho will join the original marathon variety show MBN Run to Live season 2 as "top runners," while Bae Seong-jae and Kwon Eun-joo, who appeared in season 1, and new member commentator Yoon Yeo-chun have been confirmed to appear in the broadcast team.
They have been listed as the "players" and "broadcast squad" for MBN Run to Live season 2, which will premiere on Nov. 16 (Sun), completing an "all-time casting lineup." This season 2, under the subheading "extreme races of passionate runners," will show stars who are serious about running participating as "players" in various competitions and competing with formidable crews. Sean, Lee Young-pyo, Yang Se-hyung and Go Han-min, who led season 1 successfully, will fully appear in season 2 as "players," and Choi Young-joon, Im Se-mi, Lee Gi-kwang, Im Soo-hyang, Jung Hye-in and Yoo Seon-ho join as "new faces" to form a fantastic lineup. Furthermore, each competition will feature surprise appearances by top-tier guests, raising expectations about which stars will showcase their runner appeal in the "ultimate crew battle."
Season 2 "new face" scene-stealer Choi Young-joon and "hexagonal star" Lee Gi-kwang are said to have recently become deeply captivated by running, making viewers curious in the broadcast about how brilliantly the two will write their marathon growth stories in Run to Live season 2. Im Se-mi has a deep connection with Run to Live. She participated in a "trail running competition" during season 1 due to her friendship with Go Han-min, leaving a short but strong impression. In particular, as a "marathon ace" who completed a full course in 3 hours 40 minutes, she is expected to perform as the overwhelming "female one-top" runner in season 2. Variety show novice Im Soo-hyang is expected to play the role of vitality for the "top running crew" with her solid physicality and refreshingly down-to-earth charm. Jung Hye-in is likely to carry her iron stamina and competitive spirit proven in a soccer variety show into marathon, showcasing a powerful presence in the "ultimate crew battle." In addition, Yoo Seon-ho will lead the atmosphere as the "youngest of the top crew," offering a different kind of fun with his refreshing energy and passion.
The "broadcast team" lineup, which will vividly convey the fierce competition among running players, is another factor raising expectations for season 2. Bae Seong-jae, the "all-purpose sports caster," and Kwon Eun-joo, the "former national team marathoner" coach, who were active in season 1, will once again work together, and "master of sports commentary" commentator Yoon Yeo-chun newly joins, promising even more delightful chemistry and teamwork.
Meanwhile, the Run to Live production team will broadcast Run to Live in Sydney, which captures the challenge of the "Run to Live crew" who participated in the Sydney Marathon, one of the world's seven major marathon races and the winner's privilege from season 1, over two weeks on Nov. 2 (Sun) and Nov. 9. Afterwards, Run to Live season 2 will arrive in viewers' homes with its first episode on Nov. 16 (Sun).<
