U.S. Hollywood actor Tom Cruise, 63, may hold a wedding with his current partner in space or underwater, according to a report.
According to U.S. outlet Radar on the 12th, a representative close to Cruise said Cruise and his partner, actor Ana de Armas, 37, are considering a wedding like the movie Mission: Impossible that Cruise appeared in.
The representative said, "One thing that binds them well is that they both like bold things," explaining that the idea of a space wedding or an underwater wedding is appealing to them.
The representative added, "Cruise is already thinking on a scale beyond imagination and is obsessed with space travel," and said, "Becoming the first couple to marry in space would be exciting for him."
The two are refraining from going public about their relationship, but they reportedly plan to hold a lavish wedding without worrying about outside attention.
Cruise and de Armas had long been the subject of dating rumors but had not acknowledged their relationship. Then, in February, they were spotted together at a restaurant in the United Kingdom, and in July they were seen vacationing together, confirming they were dating.
Cruise was married and divorced three times. He was married to actor Mimi Rogers from 1987 to 1990, to Nicole Kidman from 1990 to 2001, and to Katie Holmes from 2006 to 2012.
De Armas also married Spanish actor Marc Clotet in the past but divorced. In 2020, she dated actor Ben Affleck, who is 16 years her senior. De Armas appeared in the films Knives Out, 007: No Time to Die, Blonde, and The Gray Man, which boosted her profile.
