A member of the group TWS, Jihoon, first confessed that he participated in the choreography for this comeback title track.
On the 13th, at the YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, TWS' mini 4th album "play hard" media showcase was held.
"play hard" is an album that carries the meaning of throwing all youth and passion and going at full power. TWS tells the story of youth intensely immersed through the six songs on the new record. At the same time, they plan to engage more actively with the public through the music and performances to which they are pouring their greatest passion at this moment.
In particular, the title track OVERDRIVE, which means "overheated state," sings about the dynamic emotions of youth deeply in love. It pleasantly shows the process of being flustered by unfamiliar feelings yet immersing in that joy, with an over-the-top and lively energy of youth.
On the day, Dohun said of the title track "Overdrive," "Our title track can show a new look full of force with a bright and refreshing energy. The lyric 'my heart goes thump!' is the point, and I think it expresses well the feeling of being so into something you can't get out of it."
Jihoon added about the title track's performance, "I think the parts that show the charms and character of the six members will be fun." He also said that he personally participated in creating the performance for the title track.
Jihoon also spoke about aspects he paid attention to when creating the choreography: "I was honored to be able to participate. When I make choreography, I emphasize that I want the members to be happy on stage," adding, "We thought we should be happy on stage too, but when you focus on the song and the dance, it's hard to concentrate on that feeling. So I tried to create parts where we can make eye contact and be happy."
Meanwhile, TWS' mini 4th album play hard and the title track OVERDRIVE will be released on the 13th.
