Singer Yoon Min-soo and his ex-wife Kim Min-ji married in 2006 and have a son, Yoon Hu. The two, who announced their divorce last year, still co-parent Yoon Hu and maintain their family bond.
After the divorce, the ex-wife honestly said, "There is nothing good about being alone, but it's nice not to have to wait for someone," and added, "When I was at home, waiting for someone was hard. I think I had stress. Now I feel very free."
At that time, Yoon Min-soo asked his ex-wife how she would handle the numbers because the family had matched the last digits. Yoon Min-soo's ex-wife said, "Yoon Hu told me never to change the last digits; he said to change the middle digits." To that, Yoon Min-soo immediately agreed, saying, "Then let's leave it," and the ex-wife coolly supported Yoon Min-soo's new start, saying, "If anyone feels uncomfortable, tell me."
When asked whether the divorce felt relieving, Yoon Min-soo's ex-wife said, "I think I'll know how I feel on the moving day. Expectations are all off," and added, "Really, time heals."
Yoon Min-soo also said, "I feel the same. I'll know when the day comes," and added, "It's become more comfortable to deal with you; I treat you more like a friend. I have feelings that allow me to ask things more comfortably than before." The ex-wife reflected, "For now, the two of us aren't angry. In the past, we were sensitive even about small things, repeating fights over tone of voice. Now there's no need for that; I do regret those past actions."
