"House On Wheels: Hokkaido" Jang Nara candidly explained why she took on her first reality-variety show challenge 24 years after her debut.
On the afternoon of the 12th, tvN's "House On Wheels: Hokkaido" aired its first episode.
At her first meeting with Sung Dong-il and Kim Hee-won, Jang Nara continued the conversation comfortably. While talking about her husband, Jang Nara said he was a camera director she met while shooting a drama. Hearing this, Sung Dong-il said cheerfully, "She moved on. To a camera director," prompting laughter on set. Jang Nara also smiled broadly at Sung Dong-il's joke, conveying a happy atmosphere.
When Sung Dong-il then asked why she appeared on the variety show, Jang Nara opened up about her usual lifestyle pattern. She said, "Except when I'm working, I always went home and ate what I always ate. I really like that. I like living by routine." But Jang Nara said she wanted to break out of that daily life, "I felt like I wanted to test myself," and candidly explained the reason she decided to try a regular variety show 24 years after her debut.
