Comedian Park Na-rae on 'Amazing Saturday' surprised everyone by revealing she had already arranged a wedding song performance.
On the 11th episode of tvN variety show 'Amazing Saturday' (hereinafter 'Amazing Sat'), the three leads of the musical Death Note—Melomance's Kim Min-seok, Infinite's Kim Sung-kyu, and B1A4's Sandeul—appeared.
Sandeul said, "The death note dropped by the shinigami is picked up by Light. Light uses it to punish criminals, and the character L opposes that Light," Kim Min-seok said, "Doing the musical is so much fun. I hope many people come and enjoy it," he asked.
Boom asked, "Kim Min-seok says, 'I have expectations for the genius of Amazing Sat,'"
Kim Min-seok testified, "Actually, I participated with Boom on 'Radio Star.' I laughed so hard my cheeks hurt before I went home. I really thought Boom was a genius. Today I wonder how he will promote Death Note so brilliantly," praising Boom's witty talk. Also, Kim Sung-kyu, who has a long relationship with Boom, explained Boom's strengths: "I've seen Boom's sad eyes. When we were young, I did a lot of variety shows with Boom. We did variety shows at Infinite's dorm and so on."
Moon Se-yoon teased, "Aren't you a victim?" Kim Sung-kyu boasted of Boom's hosting skills, saying, "Boom's style is that when he's talking and says 'let's go,' you have to go immediately. So if you can't read the timing and fail to meet eyes or perform a personal skill satisfactorily, Boom will mark the edit point. He looks at the producer with sad eyes and says, 'Yes!'"
Boom nostalgically recalled, "Back then we relied on each other. Until 4:30 a.m.," remembering those days wistfully.
Next, second-time guest Kim Min-seok showed off a more handsome line. Kim Min-seok said shyly, "I lost 4~5kg, but it's noticeable." Moon Se-yoon praised, "It really shows." Hanhae said with envy, "How is that possible? I lost more than 10kg but it doesn't show much," clearly jealous. Kim Min-seok cautiously mentioned a fact that hurt Hanhae, saying, "If you were very heavy before, that can happen."
Meanwhile, Kim Min-seok captivated the studio with a sweet yet solid vocal. Having nailed the listen-and-write one-shot with P.O, he hummed the lyrics he had written himself. Although different from the original creator Lee Chan-hyuk, his deep voice that makes one think about life and death was impressive.
Kim Min-seok, who was the second to succeed in the snack game, performed Rain's "I do" live. Rain's song calmly and buoyantly conveys feelings toward an unrequited love slowly yet cheerfully. Kim Min-seok perfectly covered Rain's song with a dreamy voice and received applause. Park Na-rae said, "Of course! My wedding song will be Min-seok's."
Meanwhile, Park Na-rae said, "I once called because I like Kim Min-seok's voice so much. I asked him to perform a wedding song," and added, "I don't have a husband, but the wedding song booking is complete," surprising everyone. With Kim Jong-kook's sudden marriage announcement and private wedding—despite no dating rumors and no wedding preparations—recently making headlines, attention turned to whether Park Na-rae would follow a similar path.
