Choi Hong-man showed himself to be an enormous big eater.
On Nov. 11, the MBC variety show "Omniscient Interfering View" featured Choi Hong-man as a guest and he revealed his daily life in Jeju.
That day, Choi toured eateries around Jeju and showed an enormous appetite. In particular, Choi introduced a barbecue restaurant he visited more than 20 times in two months and said expenditure was 80% food costs, noting "I spend about 300,000 won to 500,000 won a day on food. I spend almost 10 million won a month on food," surprising those around him.
In particular, Choi raised a drink and toasted with his managers. He said "I have never been drunk," and noted, "When I was young it was endless. Even after drinking 30 bottles of soju, a whole box, I didn't feel drunk. Only my eyes got a little red."
He added, "So drinking isn't fun for me. I don't bother with expensive alcohol," explaining why he drinks soft drinks instead of alcohol.
Choi also expressed hope for scuba diving and recalled, "Clothing is the problem. My feet are flippers. I met a shark while swimming. I saw a shark fin from afar. I prepared myself mentally. I prepared to fight. It wasn't as big as I thought, so it wasn't scary. When the shark came it avoided me. I think it took me for a whale. I tried to hit its nose."
When Yoo Byung-jae asked what animals he could beat, Choi said, "I think I could beat a lion or a tiger. A bear would be okay too."
Meanwhile, Choi Hong-man is 217 cm tall and has a foot size exceeding 360 mm.
