Chef Jo Seo-hyung revealed that he was a "food genius" and a "food prodigy" during his school days.
On the Nov. 11 broadcast of MBC Omniscient Interfering View (hereinafter Omniscient Interfering View), Choi Hong-man and "business genius Boss Jo" Chef Jo Seo-hyung appeared.
Jun Hyun-moo said, "Since opening at 24, there has never been a time when it wasn't fully booked," and Jo Seo-hyung replied, "There are 14 seats. It was fully booked even during the coronavirus period." The Omniscient Interfering View panelists marveled at Jo Seo-hyung's touch, saying it was a popular restaurant visited even by conglomerate chairmen.
Born in 1995, Jo Seo-hyung said, "My mother might feel slighted, but my mother really can't cook. My grandmother is from North Korea and cooks well. I make stuffed squid myself at home. From middle school, I did the kimchi-making all by myself," surprising everyone.
Jo Seo-hyung explained, "Around the time I was entering middle school, I heard an advertisement for a cooking academy. I enrolled during the winter break before starting middle school. I obtained a chef's certificate before third grade of middle school. I have skills in Korean, Western, Japanese, Chinese cuisine, and even blowfish."
