A cheerleader who announced her retirement upon marriage, Kim Hanna, expressed gratitude to her fans.
On the 11th, Kim Hanna posted on her social media account, "As you all know, I have decided to finish my work as a cheerleader after this KIA Tigers season. I truly loved my job so much that I wanted to do it for my whole life, and it was not an easy decision given how long I have worked," she wrote.
Kim Hanna said, "Just by being a cheerleader, I was able to receive so much attention and love in my life, and I think I was also able to receive support from so many sports fans. Thank you so much for giving me memories I will never forget for my whole life," adding, "I also feel very lucky to be able to finish with the KIA Tigers. I experienced the unified championship I had longed for, and no matter where I was, I felt proud to be a KIA cheerleader."
She continued, "It was a blessing to be able to work with such kind and lovely junior teammates who trusted and followed their lacking Head of Team sister, and I am also very thankful to Apex, who trusted and supported us, and to all the squad family members I worked with. I also want to thank the club and all the officials who cared for our team. Thanks to them, I always felt happy working," she added.
Kim Hanna said, "It has already been about a week since the regular season ended, but it still doesn't feel real. Did you all have a good Chuseok holiday? I received so many messages since the last game; even if late, I will carefully read each DM you sent and reply," adding, "Finally, the Japan-Korea legend match at the end of Nov. will likely be my last game as a cheerleader."
Kim Hanna said, "I will stop being a cheerleader now, but I will try to live my life diligently moving forward. Once again, I thank everyone who loved and supported me."
Kim Hanna married Suwon FC cheering squad leader Kim Jeong-seok on the 13th of last month. The two were introduced by cheerleader Ahn Ji-hyun and, after a year of dating, tied the knot.
