'Hangout with Yoo?' Park Myung-soo voiced complaints about the award criteria of the 'Seoul Music Festival.'
The Nov. 11 broadcast of MBC's 'Hangout with Yoo?' was presented as a Chuseok grand festival special with the main figures of the 'Seoul Music Festival.' On that day, Yoo Jae-suk explained, "To mark the Chuseok holiday, we prepared a big celebration as an afterparty for the music festival with those who participated in it."
DinDin said, "These days there aren't groups wearing hanbok together anymore," commenting on the changed atmosphere of holiday variety shows, and Yoo Jae-suk agreed, "There used to be a lot of these things."
He asked, "After the music festival, Yongjin received the silver prize with Lalal. What was it like?" and Lee Yong-jin said, "I still feel the afterglow. It went better than in practice," giving his impression.
Lalal said, "What surprised me was that even though I practiced a lot, things didn't fit and it was hard and upsetting, so I kept practicing. But it just wasn't working. We decided our limit was here and finished. But my oppa fixed everything on the day. Of all the rehearsals, the stage was the best. I was so surprised, so I think that is why I won the award," expressing admiration.
DinDin drew attention by saying, "I heard the two of them had a separate dinner after the festival." Lee Yong-jin said, "After the festival recording ended and I was going home, I felt lonely. I called just in case, and she said she felt lonely too, so somehow we ended up drinking until late," surprising everyone.
Yoo Jae-suk asked, "Both of you have families, so why did you feel lonely with each other?" and Lalal, sensing danger, explained, "I'll tell it. For me, that day felt like a dream-come-true stage. So I absolutely couldn't go home, even when I was almost at my house. I told my husband I really couldn't go home like this. Let's leave this child with my mother. I can't go home,'" explaining they had a couple-accompanied afterparty. Lee Yong-jin then said, "I was worried, but I've never seen someone drink as if they don't have a child at home," which made everyone laugh.
Meanwhile, Lee Yong-jin revealed about DinDin, "After it ended I talked to him on the phone; he was the only participant dissatisfied with not winning. He said to me, 'Hyung, I should have at least gotten fourth place, what is this. Tell me honestly. Didn't I slay?' I said, 'It was fine,' and he replied, 'Oh, was I less slaying?,'" exposing the conversation and making DinDin flare up.
DinDin continued the exposé, "What happened was after all the stages ended I was in a great mood going home. I called Myung-soo hyung after getting home. But Myung-soo hyung said, 'These singers XX. If you're just going to give the awards to those singers, why do it?' Hearing that, I suddenly..."
Yoo Jae-suk warned, "If this recording gets released it'll be chaos," and Park Myung-soo exploded, "Ah, I'll finish everything right here! What future is there!" which made everyone laugh. DinDin then added, "I should be careful about phone calls from now on," drawing more laughter.
Meanwhile, when asked "How was the stage?" Park Young-gyu confessed his nervousness, saying, "I've never been this nervous before. I don't know why I'm so nervous." Yoo Jae-suk said, "Plus you met sister Kim Hee-ae after a long time," and Park Young-gyu confessed, "The moment I saw Kim Hee-ae that day I was nervous too. This is really hard for me to say, but I truly loved Kim Hee-ae," causing a stir on the set.
HaHa asked, "Was it unrequited love?" and DinDin also wondered, "Did you perhaps confess?" Park Young-gyu replied intriguingly, "Curious? I loved her, but it didn't come true," and Yoo Jae-suk asked again, "So it's love in the drama? Or—" Park Young-gyu explained, "It didn't come together in the drama," which relieved everyone.
On the same day, the group split into the Blue Team and White Team to compete in a song contest for popular 1980s holiday gift sets. The contest ended in a tie between the Blue Team and White Team, and the MVP honor went to Solar and Lalal, who showed a fantastic harmony. The MVP prize was an LP player, and with only one prize available, Yoo Jae-suk promised, "We'll buy one more and give it to them."
