Lee Young-ae begins to suspect Yang Mi-yeon is the blackmailer.
In episode 7 of the KBS 2TV weekend miniseries "Walking On Thin Ice" airing today (11th) at 9:20 p.m. (directed by Song Hyun-wook / written by Jeon Young-shin / produced by Baram Pictures·Slingshot Studio), Kang Eun-su (played by Lee Young-ae) visits Yang Mi-yeon (played by Jo Yeon-hee), who warned of a reveal ahead of a parents' meeting.
In a still released before today's (11th) broadcast, a nail-biting meeting between Eun-su and Mi-yeon is captured. Earlier, Mi-yeon, who visited Eun-su's supermarket, hinted at something meaningful and warned to "watch for tomorrow," signaling a reveal. After the death of Phantom member Dong-hyun, Eun-su has been threatened by an unidentified witness and has already reached her limit. Meanwhile, Mi-yeon's attitude, as if she knows all the secrets, turns Eun-su's suspicion into certainty and raises the drama's tension to a peak. Viewers are focusing on what kind of reveal Mi-yeon might be preparing and whether she is indeed the blackmailer Eun-su suspects.
Meanwhile, Jang Tae-gu (played by Park Yong-woo) of the Gwangnam Police Station's narcotics investigation team wraps up the case by arresting the Phantom boss and his accomplices. But when Tae-gu notices rookie detective Kyung-do (played by Kwon Ji-woo) becoming excessively obsessed with the whereabouts of the drug bag, he grows suspicious of him. Tae-gu instructs Detective Park (played by Hwang Jae-yeol) to keep a close watch on Kyung-do, sparking a new ember of suspicion. As cracks within the police line slowly begin to show, curiosity grows about what ripple Tae-gu's instinct will cause.
Another released still captures Kyung-do and Phantom boss Gyu-man (played by Yang Hyun-joon) meeting in the detention center visiting room. Viewers are provoked to speculate about Kyung-do's purpose in visiting the Phantom boss and whether their meeting might unravel the mystery of the missing drug bag.
