"Sokpuri Show Dongchimi" singer Noh Sa-yeon finally fulfilled her wish to duet with Jeon Young-rok.
The episode of MBN "Sokpuri Show Dongchimi" (hereafter "Dongchimi") that aired on the 11th featured Jeon Young-rok, the hitmaker of the 1970s. Kim Tae-hoon said, "Jeon Young-rok was not just a popular singer. For example, when the song 'Write love with a pencil' became a hit, middle and high school students used pencils instead of ballpoint pens," recounting his syndrome.
Noh Sa-yeon said, "Didn't you sing with Kim Hee-ae, Hye Eun-i, Lee Eun-ha, Yang Soo-kyung, Lee Ji-yeon, Jung Soo-ra, and Kim Hye-rim?" referring to Jeon Young-rok, who had duets with numerous female singers. Jeon Young-rok praised her, saying, "The person I most wanted to try singing with was Noh Sa-yeon."
Noh Sa-yeon said, "The people I paired with for Jeon Young-rok were on a different level. Jeon Young-rok only duetted with pretty friends. Actually, I chased him a lot asking for songs. I'm actually a bit disappointed in Jeon Young-rok."
Then the two performed the show's first-ever duet. Jeon Young-rok picked up an acoustic guitar, and as Noh Sa-yeon's clean yet grand vocal power and Jeon Young-rok's sweet vocals filled the studio as if they had harmonized for decades, everyone couldn't help but marvel.
