Rapper DinDin revealed a first love story from his study-abroad days.
On the 10th, a video titled "DinDin Canada girlfriend story" was posted on the YouTube channel DinDin is DinDin. When the production team asked, "Did you have a girlfriend while studying abroad?", DinDin hesitated for a moment and recalled the past, mentioning the name "Katarina" himself.
DinDin said, "I was the first international student at that school, and the soccer team guys made a bet among themselves, 'who will get a girlfriend first.' I sincerely wanted to have a girlfriend," and added, "then I met Katarina, who came as an exchange student from Germany." He went on to explain, "That friend was of mixed Korean heritage, so I got my mom's galbijjim recipe and cooked it myself for her. That led to us dating."
But the two's relationship did not last long. DinDin confessed, "Katarina said school life was hard and finished the originally one-year program in six months and returned. I cried so much then," adding, "I loved her so much that I even gave my parents' wedding ring."
In the end the two broke up, and DinDin said, "I asked on Facebook, 'I'm really sorry, but could you send the ring collect?' Then she said, 'I don't need it. I'm going to Korea.' She actually came around the time I was returning to Korea," he revealed.
DinDin said, "Katarina was tall and strong so honestly I was scared. Just in case, I even took my mom and my mom's best friend with me when we went out," he said, drawing laughter.
