The group SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, THE 8, Mingyu, Dokyeom, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino), which drew about 126,600 spectators with just four performances in Incheon and Hong Kong, is embarking on a North American tour.
SEVENTEEN will hold SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_] IN U.S at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington, on the 11th (local time). The concerts will run nine times across five cities, starting with BMO Stadium in Los Angeles (LA) on the 16th–17th, Moody Center in Austin on the 21st–22nd, Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise on the 26th–27th, and Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. on the 29th–30th.
SEVENTEEN kicked off the world tour in spectacular fashion last month, drawing about 54,000 spectators at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium. They then entered Kai Tak Stadium, Hong Kong's largest venue, selling out two performances including limited-view seats and attracting about 72,600 fans. True to the tour name, which signifies new challenges and limitless possibilities, they received a strong response by presenting solo stages from every member for the first time since their debut.
SEVENTEEN The City LA, designed to heighten excitement for the North American tour, also begins that day. This year they partnered with global lodging platform Airbnb and expanded the program compared with last year. The SEVENTEEN-themed Airbnb Originals will include the K-beauty experience program that sold out quickly in Seoul, a choreography workshop to learn K-pop performances, and an LA-exclusive DJing party featuring SEVENTEEN's music.
At the SEVENTEEN on Complex pop-up, fans can find official merchandise sold only at SEVENTEEN The City LA. A sing-along party will run at Universal Studios Hollywood, and the Santa Monica Pier Ferris wheel will be lit in the shape of SEVENTEEN and CARAT (the fandom name) logos, among other diverse programs that are expected to leave a "SEVENTEEN map" across the city.
Pledis Entertainment said, "Thanks to the passionate support from local CARATs, we are able to hold a North American tour for the second consecutive year," and added, "We hope concerts and SEVENTEEN The City LA will bring artists and fans closer together."
SEVENTEEN plans to continue the world tour at Japan's four major domes in November and December after finishing the North American tour. <
