A2O Entertainment's "ZAL-drama" content "A2O MAY STORY" global version unveils.
At 7 p.m. on the 11th (Korean time), the global version of episode 1 of the short-form drama A2O MAY STORY (A2O May Story) will be released through A2O Entertainment's official SNS channels.
This global version provides subtitles in seven languages including Korean (Korean, English, Chinese, Thai, Indonesian, Japanese, Spanish) along with English narration. This will allow fans around the world to enjoy A2O MAY STORY more easily.
After the Chinese version was first released on the 9th, high interest was demonstrated as positive comments continued on Chinese SNS platforms Weibo and Bilibili such as "I look forward to the next episode," "I love this kind of worldbuilding narrative," and "the transition between animation and live action is natural." The release of this global version is expected to attract even more global fans' attention.
A2O MAY STORY is a work based on A2O's worldbuilding MOS (Metaversal Origin Story) that depicts the story of five members who love dance and music coming together as one team, A2O MAY. Set at A2O School, the story interestingly unfolds as A2O MAY members prepare for performances and the A2O rookies LTG (Low Teen Girls), who admire them, are featured.
The story that serves as the backdrop for A2O MAY's B.B.B music video, which was released in August and gained global popularity, unfolds in the form of a short-form drama, and the secret of "Soulite," one of the multiverse planetary systems at the very center of "Genesis," the highest concept of the A2O MOS world, is revealed in earnest. Various secrets and worldbuilding surrounding "Soulite" will continue to unfold through A2O's short-form drama series in the future.
A2O's worldbuilding MOS, including A2O MAY STORY, is implemented as a new hybrid content genre called "CAWMAN," which combines C from cartoon, A from animation, W from webtoon, M from motion graphic, A from avatar, and N from novel.
