The Seasons-10CM's Ssedam Ssedam breathed with viewers through a special stage that blew away post-holiday aftereffects.
The KBS 2TV music talk show The Seasons-10CM's Ssedam Ssedam, which aired on the 10th, featured Zico, Urban Zakapa's Jo Hyun-ah, ATEEZ's Jongho, DinDin, Joo Woo-jae and Guckkasten, who presented a rich array of music with diverse performances that delighted viewers' eyes and ears.
This broadcast was prepared as a "I'm afraid to be alone tonight" special for those feeling lonely during the long golden holiday, and MC 10CM presented an opening stage of "Tonight I'm afraid of the dark" from a specially prepared set. Also, for the first time on The Seasons, a "lying zone" was prepared in the audience, drawing attention.
Zico, the "hit song maker," performed "Roommate" for the first time on the show and jumped into the audience's "lying zone," getting up close with the audience. Former MC Zico, who hosted The Seasons-Zico's Artist, said, "My heart has always been in this place," and "The Seasons and I have never broken up," targeting the MC seat and leaving 10CM embarrassed. In particular, Zico showed deep affection for the program, saying, "I had a scheduled commitment but canceled it to come."
After introducing stories sent by the audience, Zico continued with song gifts. Zico and 10CM performed a duet of "Artist" and "ANTI," showing perfect chemistry. 10CM praised Zico's stage performance, saying, "Your moves are the coolest in Korea." Zico then said, "I will participate as a producer on Show Me the Money for the first time in nine years. I will go on with a mindset to learn and challenge," and finally delivered deep emotion with the song "Person."
Urban Zakapa's Jo Hyun-ah showcased deep vocal skills singing "I don't love you," and ATEEZ's Jongho reinterpreted IU's "Good Day," perfectly executing the three-note high note. Jo Hyun-ah introduced a story in which she grew up as the youngest child in a wealthy family and received loving care from her older sisters while listening to "Nemo's Dream," and DinDin made a surprise appearance as the actual subject of the story and passionately sang "Nemo's Dream." Despite it being his mother's birthday on the day of the recording, DinDin visited 10CM's Ssedam Ssedam and, along with a congratulatory message, left a video letter joking, "My son overcame 'Nemo's Dream'," which drew laughter.
Jo Hyun-ah, Jongho and DinDin introduced audience stories and entertained with talks that combined empathy and humor. Jongho passionately sang Lee Seung-gi's "Because You're My Woman" for the storyteller, and Jo Hyun-ah delivered deep soul by singing a sad version of "I'll Give It to You." The four of them proved their seamless chemistry by performing key choreography to "I'll Give It to You." Finally, DinDin revealed a surprising charm with a sweet ballad, singing Tey's "Love... leaves a scent."
Joo Woo-jae, the "man who is sincere about music," teased 10CM with comments like, "There is no host more pessimistic than this," and "Your tension level has dropped a lot," showing their close-friend chemistry. 10CM expressed gratitude for Joo Woo-jae's cover of "Reaching You," which caused a retro hit, and Joo Woo-jae replied, "It racked up 7.7 million views. I benefited from it too." The two then performed a duet of "Reaching You," and the 187 cm tall Joo Woo-jae added special viewing fun by using a "gentleman's leg" for 10CM.
Joo Woo-jae introduced an audience story about being afraid of holiday nagging and, sharing his own experience, demonstrated attitudes and postures to avoid nagging, which provoked laughter. He also sang CNBLUE's "I'm a loner" with 10CM as a song fitting the story. He then captivated the audience with a delicate yet sweet voice in a performance of god's "I love you and I remember."
Guckkasten opened with an intense curtain-raiser with their "ANTMIL" stage. Vocalist Ha Hyun-woo told 10CM, "You weren't this handsome in the past," and added, "You get more handsome as time goes by. It gave me hope too," stealing 10CM's heart with unabashed banter. Returning with their third full-length album AURUM after 11 years, Guckkasten revealed, "It took three years to make a full album. As the number of tracks increased and themes were created, eventually 21 tracks were completed." They added behind-the-scenes details and said, "There were many ups and downs and it was a big challenge. Over a long time we wandered, failed and succeeded, and completed this album," expressing affection.
Continuing a deep conversation about the new release, Guckkasten and 10CM swapped songs. 10CM performed Guckkasten's "Mirror" in a dense acoustic version, and Guckkasten sang 10CM's "Do you like spring??" with a fiery, chili-pepper spicy twist, creating a stage with a charm completely different from the original. Guckkasten then sang their new song "KICK OUT," with 10CM participating in the chorus to enrich the song. The stage, reminiscent of a concert hall, prompted encore calls from the audience, and Guckkasten overwhelmed the venue by showcasing the essence of band sound with "Lazenca, Save Us."
