Choi Woo-shik and Jung So-min showed romantic chemistry.
On the afternoon of the 10th at the SBS building in Mok-dong, Yangcheon District, Seoul, an SBS press conference was held for the new Friday-Saturday drama "Would You Merry Me." Director Song Hyun-wook and actors Choi Woo-shik, Jung So-min, Bae Na-ra, Shin Seul-gi and Seo Beom-jun attended the press conference.
Would You Merry Me is a sweet and fierce 90-day fake newlywed period of two men and women trying to secure a luxury newlywed home prize.
When asked about his romantic chemistry with Jung So-min that day, Choi Woo-shik said, "I've acted with many different people, but this time our acting matched so well that it made me want to act together again."
He expressed satisfaction, saying, "The genre is brighter and there are more fun moments of chaotic scenes. There were times when we filled in parts that weren't in the script. If we had unexpected ideas or the rhythm broke before a cut, we seemed to naturally fill it well. It really felt like Woo-ju and Mary were fitting together like pieces of a puzzle."
Jung So-min added, "I also received everything so perfectly no matter what I did. I felt I could do whatever I wanted with confidence. It's a shame that this wonderful chemistry and rapport with an actor in one work ends here, and I really hope we can meet again in another project."
Meanwhile, Seo Beom-jun said, "I had a few scenes watching the two of them. I really felt jealous. How sweet they were inside. Honestly, wasn't it good for us too?" showing jealousy, and Jung So-min said, "That's right. Mr. Beom-jun was young but mature and dependable. We discussed a lot while acting and talked a lot. It was great to create so many scenes together."
Shin Seul-gi said, "He was an actor who perfectly received whatever I gave him. Seeing that he accepted whatever I acted every moment, I wanted to emulate him and felt honored to act together," and Bae Na-ra said, "During filming I showed a monitoring moment, but within that I was able to have an extremely enjoyable and fun relationship, so I have many pleasures and memories from the relationship," adding, "The on-screen chemistry was a 'tightrope walk,' but in reality it was like sweet candy."
Meanwhile, Would You Merry Me premieres today (the 10th) at 9:50 p.m.
