Comedian Pyo In-bong revealed that he has become a pastor.
On the afternoon of the 10th, the tvN STORY Chuseok special 'Shin Dong-yeop, who ordered coffee? At the event, Pyo In-bong, who was loved as Nurse Pyo in 'Sunpoong Obstetrics and Gynecology,' had his recent news of becoming a pastor revealed, drawing attention.
He explained the story of becoming a pastor: "My family originally had a Christian base. When my father answered the phone, he wouldn't say 'hello,' he would say 'Hallelujah.' Growing up like that, Christian culture didn't feel unfamiliar to me."
He continued, "There was a massive earthquake in Haiti. I went to volunteer on a cultural team from Korea, and after returning I couldn't focus on other work. After that I studied theology, and before I knew it I suddenly became a pastor."
Meanwhile, Pyo In-bong debuted in 1991 as an SBS special recruitment comedian and gained popularity through 'Sunpoong Obstetrics and Gynecology' and TinTinFive. He stopped broadcasting activities after MBN's 'Family Samgukji' ended in Mar. 2014, and is currently working as a pastor.
