Actor Park Bo-gum will once again serve as the MC of Music Bank.
On the 8th, OSEN reported that KBS2's Music Bank World Tour in Lisbon was held on Sept. 27 (local time) at the MEO Arena in Lisbon, Portugal, and successfully completed its recording.
That day's recording was arranged as an overseas special ahead of Chuseok, and Park Bo-gum served as the sole MC. The performers included SHINee Taemin (TAEMIN), ATEEZ (ATEEZ), IVE (IVE), RIIZE (RIIZE), ZEROBASEONE (ZEROBASEONE), izna (izna) and others, filling the stage. With K-pop and the Korean Wave sweeping the world, countless fans flocked to the local venue to see them, and they reportedly received huge cheers for their high-quality performances.
Earlier, Park Bo-gum was selected as the host of Music Bank in 2021 alongside Red Velvet member Irene and worked as an MC. At that time he led the music show as an MC for more than a year, showing stable hosting skills, and recently he also presented the late-night music program The Seasons - Park Bo-gum's Cantabile for five months.
Also, while working as an actor, Park Bo-gum has drawn attention by appearing as the MC for Music Bank's overseas specials. Last year he also served as MC for Music Bank in Belgium and Music Bank in Madrid. During the Madrid recording, his ability to host was uncertain because of an injury sustained while filming a drama, but he attended until the end to keep his promise to K-pop fans around the world.
